This is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and regulatory filings. Experience with unionized payroll and Jonas Construction Software is considered a strong asset.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>JOB DESCRIPTION:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Process accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, reconciliations, and payment preparation</span></li>\n<li><span>Administer union and non-union payroll, including payroll reporting and remittances</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis</span></li>\n<li><span>Prepare and file regulatory and statutory filings, including payroll remittances, GST/PST, WCB, and other compliance-related reports</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with month-end and year-end close, including intercompany invoicing and account reconciliations</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation</span></li>\n<li><span>Support ad hoc accounting and administration requests as required</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across financial processes</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</span></li>\n<li><span>3+ years of relevant accounting experience</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, payroll, and reconciliations</span></li>\n<li><span>Solid understanding of Canadian payroll and regulatory requirements (CRA, WCB, EHT, GST/PST)</span></li>\n<li><span>High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel </span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to manage deadlines effectively, work independently, and collaborate within a team</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with Jonas Construction Software is preferred</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience running payroll in a unionized environment is preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>WHAT WE OFFER:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Competitive compensation based on experience</span></li>\n<li><span>Supportive and collaborative work environment</span></li>\n<li><span>Opportunity to gain exposure across multiple accounting functions</span></li>\n<li><span>Extended health and dental benefits</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid vacation</span></li>\n<li><span>Professional development support</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Schedule:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Monday to Friday</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Work Location: In person (Richmond, BC)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Please apply through BambooHR.</span></p>",
