From automobile development to smart factories, our Swiss-designed sensor solutions are driving the future of electrified drive technology, industrial automation, and emission reduction.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Purpose of the Position</strong></p><p>The Field Service Technician will be Responsible for in-house and on-site installation, commissioning, technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration of electro-mechanical measuring devices. Ability to solve broad technical problems. Contributes to efficient startup and operation of Kistler equipment.</p><p><strong>Main Tasks</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide service and support to customers via on-site visits, phone, email, and technical reporting.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of new and existing products/applications.</li><li>Perform on-site installation, configuration, setup, and maintenance on electronic devices and electro-mechanical systems.</li><li>Read schematics, mechanical drawings, test procedures, and product definitions.</li><li>Train and certify customers on Kistler equipment installation and use.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements Profile</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience operating and testing electronic instrumentation.</li><li>Experience in calibration theory and techniques for measurement devices.</li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Understanding of 24 V DC control circuits.</li><li>Ability to read schematics.</li><li>Experience applying force, pressure, and torque transducers.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and passport.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage own workload.</li><li>Strong electronics knowledge with prior experience testing electronic instrumentation and operating test equipment.</li><li>Authorized to work in the US.</li><li>Able to travel on short notice (including overnight/weekend and occasional international).</li><li>Associate in Applied Science degree or equivalent.</li><li>Physical: sit/stand, computer use 80% of day, drive, lift 50 lbs.</li><li>Able to work in factories, near highways, day/night, varied weather, elevated/uneven surfaces.</li><li>Safety focused.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Kistler?</strong></p><p>At Kistler, we value your expertise and offer opportunities for professional growth in a global environment.
