    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>NOV is now hiring a dynamic Field Service Technician to join our M/D Totco team. A Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing drilling rigs in South Texas and LA as a part of the greater Gulf Coast Region.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Field Service Technician reports to the Louisiana Field Service Supervisor.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>We are seeking career-minded service professionals who understand the importance of a clear career path and can fulfill the following responsibilities:</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of M/D Totco products.</p>\n<p>Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems.</p>\n<p>Perform field upgrades of software and hardware, and train customers on how to properly operate the system.</p>\n<p>Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Ability to properly communicate and build strong relationships with the rig crew.</p>\n<p>Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>High School Diploma or Equivalent is required</p>\n<p>Mechanically inclined or Electrical experience is a bonus</p>\n<p>Ability to travel per the manager's request</p>\n<p>Must pass a national background check and a motor vehicle report</p>\n<p>Must be 21 years of age&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Good verbal and written communication skills</p>\n<p>Not afraid of heights</p>\n<p>Maintain accurate equipment inventory on the truck and on the Rigs</p>\n<p>Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware</p>\n<p>Willingness to be on call</p>\n<p>Pneumatic and hydraulic background preferred</p>\n<p>Electrical background preferred</p>\n<p>Leadership skills</p>\n<p>Ability to lead and assist other techs and colleagues</p>\n<p>About Us</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Every day, the oil and gas industry’s best minds put more than 150 years of experience to work to help our customers achieve lasting success.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>We Power the Industry that Powers the World&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Throughout every region in the world and across every area of drilling and production, our family of companies has provided the technical expertise, advanced equipment, and operational support necessary for success—now and in the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
