    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>Job Title: <strong><u>Small Boat Service &amp; Operations</u></strong> Department: <u>Small Boats</u> Reports to: <u>Marina Manager</u></p><p><strong>Position Prerequisites:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>1. High school education preferred.</p><p>2. Must be capable of working unsupervised.</p><p>3. Some small tool knowledge.</p><p>4. Ability to work with guest in all areas with a positive approach.</p><p>5. Ability to concentrate on detail and follow-up work while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.</p><p>6. Ability to work as a team.</p><p>7. Knowledge of boat trailers, winches and their operation.</p><p>8. Knowledge of water crafts and how to properly operate them.</p><p><strong>Purpose:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Orients boat renters on operation of boat and the equipment, assists guests in and out of boats. Launches and moors boats. May conduct minor repairs to boats.</p><p><strong>Major Duties:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>1. Orient customer on how to actually drive and operate the boat.</p><p>2. Responsible for initial inventory verification on the boat.</p><p>3. Provide guests with lake and resort information.</p><p>4. Pre-check of boats and equipment.</p><p>5. Some maintenance of boats and work area may be required.</p><p>6. Move boats into and out of water for customers using winch trailers.</p><p>7. Cleaning the boats and preparing for next rental.</p><p>8. Required to handle propane. Be knowledgeable in the handling of propane.</p><p>9. Control inventory flow of actual boats available using load-out list.</p><p>10. Ensure proper inventory is on board boat prior to rental (i.e. life jackets, fire extinguisher, etc.)</p><p>11. Maintain a clean work area.</p><p>12. Control traffic in marina area and assist customers with mooring boats.</p><p>13. Greet all customers as they enter your work area. Offer assistance immediately. Thank all customers as they leave work area.</p><p>14. Complete merchandise and product knowledge is imperative in satisfying customer needs. It is each small boat attendant&rsquo;s responsibility to maintain a working knowledge of merchandise, boats, and service available.</p><p>15. Always operate with an emphasis on guest hospitality.</p><p>17. Use &ldquo;clean as you go&rdquo; method when performing your work duties.</p><p>18. Operate equipment with energy conservation in mind.</p><p>19. Adhere to safety policies.</p><p>20. Be present at all departmental, resort and training meetings.</p><p>21. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (both within the department and in other resort departments).</p><p>22. Maintain a positive attitude toward the resort and the job being performed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>General:</strong></p><p>1. Be aware of daily activities and events at the resort.</p><p>2. Be knowledgeable of all resort operations.</p><p>3. Perform all reasonable job requests assigned by management.</p><p>4.
