Provides direction to all Maintenance Mechanics in regard to machine breakdown, maintenance projects, pneumatics, safety and general and preventative maintenance throughout the plant. The Maintenance Manager will be required to assist team members as required to effectively complete projects in a timely manner. The person in this role will effectively train and develop team members on an ongoing basis through Live Comfortably Performance Assessment Process.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the site maintenance function in providing both proactive and reactive multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Increase site operational performance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a Preventive Maintenance program.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drive Key Performance Indicators ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage the team on technical best practices and establish standard policies and procedures while also mentoring and leading the department.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Contribute to the creation, documentation and implementation of best practice maintenance vison, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and driving change in training, working practices and process.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure training and competency of personnel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommend projects and improvement programs.
