This wage non-exempt position reports to the Aggregates Shipping Manager.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Clean the in-bound and the out-bound scales daily</li>\n <li>Notify the Aggregates Shipping Manager and alert when the scale certification will be due.</li>\n <li>Operate the Aggregate scales, both In-bound, Out-bound and Try out scale with hydraulic clamshell system</li>\n <li>Complete all end-of-the-day reports and close-outs</li>\n <li>Maintain the scales inside and outside</li>\n <li>Interact with customers and freight vendors</li>\n <li>Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent customer service orientation skills.</li>\n <li>Physically fit to handle lifting at least 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Able to use a high-pressure water hose used for cleaning</li>\n <li>Able to climb stairs and perform physical work</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with others and customers</li>\n <li>Good computer skills (prior JWS system experience preferred)</li>\n <li>Able to work overtime and weekends when necessary</li>\n <li>High degree of accuracy in a fast paced and multi-task environment</li>\n <li>Must be able to speak, read and write English / Spanish</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Shift:</u></em></strong></p>\n<p>Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
