&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>&nbsp; &nbsp;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p>JOB SUMMARY:</p><p>Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs, and supervises the activities of the Maintenance Department, including vehicle maintenance, vehicle disposal, budget development, procurement, fueling, maintenance, safety compliance, and fleet administration; provides high-level staff and technical support for company operations.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Recommends and assists in the implementation of goals and objectives; establishes schedules and methods for the maintenance of the company fleet; implements policies and procedures.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Directs a Fleet Maintenance Management Program for all company vehicles and equipment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Develops and administers a comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair program.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensures safety and compliance is followed throughout all Maintenance and Repair departments company wide.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintains inventory of materials, supplies, parts, and equipment for work requirements</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Evaluate services and identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; identify resource needs; review with appropriate staff, assist with implementation of improvements. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Prepares preliminary budget for operational and capital expenditures for Fleet Maintenance, monitors and controls expenditures.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Supervises, trains, and evaluates supervisors, technical, and clerical employees.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Monitors effective record-keeping systems; prepares technical and administrative reports and correspondence. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Reviews employee performance reports for recommendations and personnel actions.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Prepares periodic reports on routine operations and special reports/studies as required.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensures fleet operations are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</p><p>REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and equipment used in fleet management and maintenance.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of methods of developing and implementing a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience designing a maintenance program from the ground up.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of processes involved in the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment and vehicles.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with preparing and maintaining a departmental budget.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Exceptional people skills</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements on all aspects of maintenance and repair shops.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Nine (9) years of progressively responsible work experience relating to maintenance, repair, acquisition and administration of a diverse vehicle and equipment fleet, four (4) of which were in a supervisory capacity, any equivalent combination of experience and education. &nbsp;Experience with large and or industrial equipment is strongly desired.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Four (4) years of education at an accredited college or university in Automotive Technology or Business Management preferred.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>ASE Certifications preferred.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;
