A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.</p><table border=\"1\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" style=\"margin-left: calc(97%); width: 3%;\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" width=\"100%\"><p><br></p></td></tr></tbody></table><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment</li><li>Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor</li><li>Consult with construction plans</li><li>Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site</li><li>Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks</li><li>Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment</li><li>Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing are worn</li><li>Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner</li><li>Assist in building scaffolding and temporary structures</li><li>Assist with light carpentry as needed</li><li>Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches</li><li>Provide assistance to contractors (i.e. craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed</li><li>Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials</li><li>Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Construction experience</li><li>Health &amp; Safety standards and qualifications&nbsp;</li><li>Construction sequencing</li><li>Knowledge of building codes</li><li>Understanding of drawings and specs</li></ul><p><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Time Management</strong> - Ability to use time effectively and productively</li><li><strong>Communicating with Impact</strong> - Communicates well, delivers presentations, has good listening skills</li><li><strong>Problem Solving</strong> - Strives to understand contributing factors, works to resolve complex situations</li><li><strong>Influencing Others</strong> - Persuasive and engaging and can build buy-in from key people.</li><li><strong>Team Development</strong> - Facilitates the constructive resolution of conflict; increasing mutual trust; and encouraging cooperation, coordination, and identification with the work unit.</li><li><strong>Attention to Detail -&nbsp;</strong>Has the ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.</li></ul><p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Commercial interior office fitouts</li><li>Project management software system and Microsoft office suite</li><li>Proven track record (Project Delivery)</li><li>Managed subcontractors</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>\n    </div>\n  \n",
