With physicians in more than 100 specialties, award-winning hospitals, stand-alone emergency departments, urgent care locations and more, the healthcare system attracts patients from across the state, region and nation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Learn more about Baptist Health | Learn more about Orlando Health</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works under the supervision of a preceptor and/ or charge person while in their orientation period.</li>\n <li>Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures and protocols.</li>\n <li>Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.</li>\n <li>Ensuresthat patient's education of procedure performed, needs, safety, and comfort are met while in their care.</li>\n <li>Acquires patient’s clinical history and assures that the information is accurately documented. Verifies files and records for completeness and accuracy of the patient involved in studies. Archives and amends demographic information to appropriate storage media.</li>\n <li>Positions patient, equipment, associated devices, and manipulatestechnical factorsto achieve high quality imagesfor interpretation.</li>\n <li>Assesses processed image media for technical quality, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.</li>\n <li>When applicable, applies principals of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.</li>\n <li>Provides physiological and hemodynamic monitoring during diagnostic and interventional procedures.</li>\n <li>Supports the Physician as a scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the knowledge of aseptic technique.</li>\n <li>Appraises and evaluates actual and potential hemostasis of a vessel post procedure.</li>\n <li>Locates uses and troubleshoots complex technical equipment/instruments. Acts as a resource for its operation and training.</li>\n <li>Maintains use of customer service skills in communication with all staff, visitors, and co-workers.</li>\n <li>Maintains adequate inventory levels of supplies, equipment, resources tools, and forms.</li>\n <li>Ensures case turnover time to be within established department standards by maintaining proper workflow and prioritizing optimize patient care.</li>\n <li>Maintains high standards of patient care, documentation, and professionalism.</li>\n <li>Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.</li>\n <li>Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Training</strong>• High school diploma or GED• Two (2) Years Cardiac Cath Lab Cardiac Experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS may be required depending on unit specific needs.• Must obtain RCIS certification in 24 Months of hire.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong>• Two (2) years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience</p>",
