Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Examples of Duties</u><u> include but are not limited to the following</u>:</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist the Director and IT team with performing tasks necessary to ensure the efficient operation, availability, and security of all user endpoints, servers, printers, UPS devices, network devices, and telephony Infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Perform monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for O/S and application patching and Anti-Virus protection updates to all property user endpoints and servers.</li>\n <li>Provide lead support for data and telephony device connectivity to an enterprise local and vast area network. Devices include IP telephones, printers, cameras, user endpoints, wireless access points, and servers.</li>\n <li>Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all hardware, software, and licenses.</li>\n <li>Maintain training programs to increase user knowledge of and use of systems and ensure a high degree of computer proficiency among end users.</li>\n <li>Perform local systems backup, ensuring all critical data is transferred to backup servers without errors or omissions. Maintain current system images of all server-level endpoints. Perform restoration on local servers to ensure information is protected and functional.</li>\n <li>Provide subject matter expertise for hotel business technologies, including POS, High-Speed Internet, FTG/VOD, Telephony, and PMS interfaces. Ensure maximum uptime of all equipment and services.</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment, MDF, IDF, and work areas.</li>\n <li>Engage Vendors and IT Teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve all business systems incidents and problems.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors, 3rd party business partners, and service providers. Ensure service providers perform to contractual SLAs and service obligations.</li>\n <li>Interface and communicate effectively across all peer groups in the application and technical areas.</li>\n <li>Assist the Director of IT with providing oversight for the incident, change management, and control.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all corporate policy & procedures and legal requirements related to Hardware & software installation, use, and licensing agreements.</li>\n <li>Respond to administrative requests and responsibilities in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a proactive approach towards work activities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.</li>\n <li>24X7 availability in the event of a critical systems failure having an impact on hotel revenue or guest service</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>The individual must possess the following qualifications and be able to explain and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of Server Infrastructure - Hardware and Software</li>\n <li>Knowledge of User Endpoints, HW /SW – Desktops, Mobile Device, and Peripherals</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Networking systems including switches, routers, and access points</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Services to include Directory Services, DNS, and DHCP</li>\n <li>Knowledge of PMS and related interfaces</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Retail and F&B POS Systems</li>\n <li>Excellent problem and resolution skills</li>\n <li>Virtualization and Hyper-Converged Technologies</li>\n <li>BS/BA or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>Relevant Technical and Business Certifications</li>\n <li>5+ Years of experience in a large, fast-paced, hospitality environment</li>\n</ul>",
