    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. Occasional travel (up to 25%) for extended periods including overnight and weekends. Maybe out 2 weeks at most due to the project.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assemble manufactured and purchased components to meet the specifications as indicated by assembly drawings. Assemblies may include complex arrangements and may require fitting and adjustment to meet close tolerances.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Using the design package and customer specifications for reference; plan and coordinates work required to assemble systems and sub-assemblies<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review jobs before assembly starts and interacts with engineering to obtain design clarification as required<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist and direct teams of technicians assigned to the build.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure that all print updates are being completed and that rework is properly recorded.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Using established procedures for “Integration” perform setup and alignment of the system and sub-assemblies. &nbsp;Repair and/or replace defective components of the system as required<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for resolving issues through technical problem solving and troubleshooting<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participates in regular project status updates with project team and customers<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for mentoring (including feedback on skills and behavior), and providing guidance on safe work practices for Technicians<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Installation of custom assemblies on customer floor; may be required for scheduled or unscheduled onsite customer service on evenings or weekends<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide customer training when required</p>\n<p><strong>You’ll Be Great At</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Solving practical problems with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Math and communication skills<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High mechanical aptitude and be familiar with measurement tools<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must have the ability to:<br>\n o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Read blueprints<br>\n o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Operate hand tools<br>\n o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work independently and with others<br>\n o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Take direction and receive constructive criticism<br>\n o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Direct teams<br>\n o&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Troubleshoot mechanical, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic faults</p>\n<p><strong>Level of Autonomy and Authority</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Take direction from the Manufacturing Manager<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work independently on broad assignments, receiving general instructions concerning objectives, priorities, and other operational relationships<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist and direct teams of Technicians and others as required</p>\n<p><strong>Key Requirements&nbsp;</strong><br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3 years’ experience in building custom automated machines<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3 years’ experience reading and interpreting drawings and solid models<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;2 years’ experience in leading projects&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machine tools (Knee Mill, Surface Grinder, Lathe)<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3 years’ experience using computers and computer software<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be capable of working in a team environment and be able to maintain a positive attitude and consistent contribution to the projects assigned.</p>\n<p><strong>Working conditions</strong><br>\n Manufacturing environment: May be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials.<br>\n Equipment/machinery used. Machining and fabrication equipment (Knee Mill, Surface Grinder, Lathe, Drill Press, Welder), hand tools, power tools, laser alignment tools, computer, calculator, measurement tools, multi-meter, crane, fork truck, pallet-jack.</p>\n<p><br><strong>Physical requirements</strong><br>\n Sitting, standing, kneeling, laying, stooping, crawling, reaching, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally, typing, visual acuity&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\n This is a Safety Sensitive position: A Safety Sensitive position is a job or position where the employee holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety or other people's safety.
