    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Bonus</strong>: Up to $10,000 for Full Time positions</li>\n <li><strong>Department</strong>: General Radiology</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule</strong>: Multiple Shifts\n  <ul>\n   <li>Full Time Nights, Three 12 hour shifts per week, 6:00pm - 6:00am </li>\n   <li>7on/7off, Wednesday through Tuesday. 6pm to 2:30am</li>\n   <li>7on/7off Dayshift</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Work Location</strong>: UAB St Vincent's St Clair </li>\n <li><strong>Benefits for eligible positions only include</strong>: generous paid time off if applicable, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<p>Perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.</li>\n <li>Implement radiation protection and safety standards.</li>\n <li>Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special and advanced procedures.</li>\n <li>Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.</li>\n <li>Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.</li>\n <li>Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).</li>\n <li>Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storageareas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li>\n <li>One or more of the following required:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n   <li>Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n   <li>Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n   <li>Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Preferences</h2>\n<p>No additional preferences.</p>\n<h2>About UAB St. Vincent’s</h2>\n<p>UAB St. Vincent’s, a proud part of UAB Medicine, is a trusted provider of health care, serving Alabama for more than 125 years.
