As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play an important role in keeping our facilities running smoothly so our programs can continue supporting the community every day.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>This is a hands-on, skilled maintenance role that combines independent work with teamwork across departments. You&rsquo;ll help maintain and repair multiple facilities, respond to service requests, and contribute to preventive maintenance efforts that keep our campuses safe and reliable.</p><p>If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing the real impact of your work, this role offers the opportunity to grow your technical skills while supporting a mission-driven organization.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks across multiple facilities,&nbsp;including but not limited to plumbing, lighting, painting, minor remodeling, and carpentry.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Complete work safely and in accordance with established procedures, with minimal supervision.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Safely and effectively use hand and power tools to complete assigned work.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Identify and report facility improvement needs and larger repair issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Document completed work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Communicate clearly with staff to confirm completion and identify any follow-up needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Escalate complex or specialized repairs when additional support is required.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, tools, equipment, and materials.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Follow all safety procedures and consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Complete requiredtrainingsand policy acknowledgements on time.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Work independently and as part of a team to support department priorities.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Adapt to changing work orders and shifting priorities across multiple sites.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support additional tasks and projects as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Minimum Requirements</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">At least two (2) years of maintenance experience in a multi-unit or multi-site environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Working knowledge of at least two (2) of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC, or carpentry.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">A valid California driver&rsquo;s license, current registration, insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required due to the essential functions of this role.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Basic computer skills and ability to learn maintenance management software.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Availability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Skills</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Familiarity with safety practices such as Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, respiratory protection, electrical safety, fire systems, forklift/hoist operation, and PPE use.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience working across multiple buildings or campus environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Bilingual in English and Spanish or experience serving multilingual communities.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Schedule</strong></p><p>Full-time Day Shift Wednesday - Sunday position, from 12:00PM - 8:30PM.
