The successful candidate provides technical cybersecurity support, investigates alerts, assists with internal audits, and closes tickets efficiently. This position requires strong analytical skills, basic knowledge of cybersecurity standards and principles, and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.55pt;\"><strong>Location:</strong> Remote with possibility to be onsite, 10% Travel&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely with Cybersecurity and Technology teams to ensure cybersecurity controls align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support and enforce governance and compliance frameworks to align with industry standards and regulations. Specifically, CMMC &amp; Cyber Essentials.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilize Rapid7&rsquo;s InsightIDR security center for incident detection and response, authentication monitoring, and endpoint visibility.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilize Rapid7&rsquo;s InsightVM to identify vulnerabilities and leverage Action1 to deploy patches to remediate vulnerabilities identified.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor various cybersecurity platforms and provide support for security related incidents, responding using the defined procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Enforce and advocate IT security related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer cybersecurity requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of network incidents.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
