    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Anticipated Hiring Range: </strong>$15.16 - $18.46 Hourly</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The City of Greeley is looking for seasonal Groundskeepers for our Highland Hills Golf Course and will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of high quality, safe and&nbsp;aesthetically&nbsp;pleasing golf grounds, facilities and equipment. Position may perform duties such as, cup setting, changing tee markers, string trimming, filling and raking sand bunkers and mowing operations. Position will be located at one of the two highly manicured golf courses within the city: Boomerang Links or Highland Hills.&nbsp;</p><p>Position assists in spot watering,&nbsp;syringing&nbsp;greens and adding additions to the irrigation system. Position may assist in the application of fertilizers or pesticides as well as other specialized tasks including irrigation, over-seeding, aerification and&nbsp;topdressing; other duties as assigned.</p><p>Scheduling for this position varies and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays as followed by federal law.</p><p><i>This is a continuous posting and can be closed at any time.</i></p><p><strong>Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:</strong></p><p>Minimum Requirements:</p><ul><li>Minimal to no previous experience required.</li><li>Must be 16 years of age or older.</li><li><p>OR Any Combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job, AND Possession of a valid driver's license.</p><p style=\"-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; Duties include cutting cups, setting tee&nbsp;marker locations, straightening and mowing all ropes and signage as needed and evaluating basic course conditions.</li><li>Ability to work outside under widely varying environmental conditions.</li><li>Possess good manual dexterity to perform the duties assigned.</li><li>Ability to safely operate and perform the duties required of the position.</li><li>Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.</li><li>Customer service skills, including the ability to actively listen, address customer needs, defuse tense situations, and maintain an open, flexible, and friendly demeanor.</li><li>Ability to respond to requests in a timely manner.</li><li>Ability to effectively collaborate with team members.</li><li>Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and stay on task when completing special projects and daily assignments.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and reliable professional judgment, as well as collaboratively with a team to achieve desired results.</li><li>Ability to maintain a strong work ethic, positive problem-solving attitude, and enthusiasm for the work performed.</li><li>Ability to self-start and take initiative in completing daily tasks and special projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Cleans and stocks restrooms, empty trash throughout the property including on course, clubhouse, practice facility and maintenance areas.</li><li>Rakes and prepares sand bunkers for daily play.</li><li>Operates golf carts and turf utility vehicles.</li><li>Performs functions required for daily operation, which may include raking and picking up debris, filling divots or repairing ball marks.</li><li>Operates motorized equipment such as string trimmer, walking lawn mower, handheld and backpack leaf blowers and other equipment as needed.</li><li>Operates mowing equipment needed to mow areas of the golf course including greens, tees and approaches.</li><li>Operates specialty equipment such as a greens roller, sod cutter, tow behind blower and edger.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment and&nbsp;Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Work outside with exposure to all weather elements.</li><li>Long periods of time involved in planting, hand weeding and maintaining grounds using a shovel, rake and other tools.</li><li>Hours may be flexible depending on assigned area, 20-40 hours per week, with weekends and holidays as assigned.</li><li>Extended hours operating grounds equipment - i.e.,&nbsp;poly cord trimmers, mowers, &amp;
