This role is Full-Time Monday through Friday Day Shift. We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.&nbsp;</p>\n                              <p><b>Featured Benefits:</b></p>\n                              <ul>\n                              <li>• Committed to Team Member Health: offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.</li>\n                              <li>• Retirement: Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day.</li>\n                              <li>• Tuition and Student Loan Assistance: offering up to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.</li>\n                              <li>• Mental Health Support: offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.</li>\n                              <li>• Work/Life Balance: offering paid time off, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules,&nbsp;</li>\n                              </ul>\n                              <p><br><b>Job Responsibilities:</b><br>\n                               &nbsp;</p>\n                              <div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; text-decoration-color:initial; text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-thickness:initial\">\n                              <ul>\n                              <li>Designs, and performs research projects and promotes research outputs.</li>\n                              <li>Provides educational activities to medical school students, dosimetry students, therapy students, and medical physics residents.&nbsp;</li>\n                              <li>Provides support to the dosimetry team in treatment planning.&nbsp;</li>\n                              <li>Provides support to the radiation therapy team in patient treatment.&nbsp;</li>\n                              <li>Works closely with radiation oncologists in every aspect of patient’s radiation therapy care.</li>\n                              <li>Develops, and performs routine quality assurance of patient’s plan and the system.&nbsp;</li>\n                              <li>Validates new devices, equipment or tools for patient’s treatment. &nbsp;</li>\n                              </ul>\n                              <p><br><b>Additional Requirements</b></p>\n                              <ul>\n                              <li>A master’s degree in Physics or a related field is required, a doctoral degree in Physics or a related field is preferred</li>\n                              <li>Minimum 3 years experience in Clinical Medical Physics</li>\n                              <li>The American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified required</li>\n                              <li>Virginia Inspector within the first 3 months of hire, but must have submitted the application to the State at time of hire</li>\n                              <li>Availability to work outside of normal business hours (nights and weekends) is required</li>\n                              <li>Knowledge of scripting is preferred</li>\n                              <li>Experience with Raystation treatment planning system is preferred</li>\n                              <li>Prior experience with proton therapy is preferred</li>\n                              <li>Strong communication skills – both orally and in writing are required</li>\n                              </ul>\n                              </div>\n                             </div>\n                            </div>\n                           </div>\n                          </div>\n                         </div>\n                        </div>\n                       </div>\n                      </div>\n                     </div>\n                    </div>\n                   </div>\n                  </div>\n                 </div>\n                </div>\n               </div>\n              </div>\n             </div>\n            </div>\n           </div>\n          </div>\n         </div>\n        </div>\n       </div>\n      </div>\n     </div>\n    </div>\n   </div>\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>",
