With great resources, an inclusive atmosphere, and a culture based on shared values, we’ll support you in building a solid career with a team you can count on.</p><p>As an  <strong>Avionics Technician</strong>, you will troubleshoot and repair avionics systems that are malfunctioning in customer aircraft.</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems, including FMS, Satcom, radar, autopilot, communications, navigation, and IFE systems.</li><li>Perform electrical/avionics installations, including routing and connecting wiring, aligning components, and fabricating wiring harnesses.</li><li>Conduct system testing, continuity checks, and assists in complex electrical troubleshooting.</li><li>Document all work accurately and adheres to FAA, manufacturer, and industry standards.</li><li>Operate hand/power tools and electrical test equipment, following proper safety and procedural guidelines.</li><li>Maintains a professional appearance and communication skills to foster positive customer relationships.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>Formal avionics systems and electronics education/training.</li><li>Minimum 1-3 years of related avionics experience.</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours), lift 50 pounds unassisted, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders to service aircraft</li><li>Must be able to work overtime as required</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Desired Characteristics:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintenance experience with Falcon, Lear, Challenger, Embraer, Cessna, and/or Hawker airframes</li><li>Knowledge of power sources and bonding and grounding techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of both electrical and electronic theories and be able to understand and follow wiring diagrams.</li><li>Analytical skills to perform complex mechanical troubleshooting.</li><li>Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and verbal skills in order to interface with customers and employees.</li><li>Airframe &amp; Powerplant (A&amp;P) License and FCC Repairmen License are preferred</li><li>Ability to travels to customer locations or other Standard Aero facilities</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits that make life better:</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive Healthcare</li><li>401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vested</li><li>Paid Time Off starting on day one</li><li>Bonus opportunities</li><li>Health- &amp; Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts</li><li>Short- &amp; Long-Term Disability</li><li>Life &amp; AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>Learning &amp; Training opportunities</li></ul>",
