You'll be part of an agile and dynamic workplace where today's solutions are built for tomorrow's challenges.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Junior Buyer, you will support the procurement function by managing day-to-day purchasing activities, primarily focused on MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials. You will play a key role in ensuring timely material availability, maintaining accurate system data, and supporting supplier coordination, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain and customer satisfaction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is located in Scarborough, Ontario</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities for this position are:</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Purchasing &amp; Order Management </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raise and process purchase orders for MRO materials, consumables, spare parts, and indirect goods.</li>\n<li>Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery aligned with operational needs.</li>\n<li>Track and follow up on open orders, ensuring accurate and up-to-date status in the system.</li>\n<li>Support purchase requisition management, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.</li>\n<li>Respond to internal requests from maintenance, production, and operations teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supplier Coordination</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support day-to-day communication with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and basic issue resolution.</li>\n<li>Assist in monitoring supplier performance, including on-time delivery and responsiveness.</li>\n<li>Escalate supply or delivery issues to senior team members when required.</li>\n<li>Support vendor returns and assist with Non-Conformance Notifications (NCNs) processing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inventory &amp; Data Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate data in ERP systems, including lead times, pricing, and order tracking details.</li>\n<li>Assist in monitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.</li>\n<li>Support efforts to improve data accuracy and procurement processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cost Control Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure purchase orders reflect correct pricing and terms as per supplier agreements.</li>\n<li>Assist in identifying and minimizing purchase price variances (PPV).</li>\n<li>Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement activities led by the senior team</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p>To thrive in this role, you should bring:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (MRO exposure preferred).</li>\n<li>Post-secondary education in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is an asset.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with ERP systems (LN preferred; SAP or similar systems considered an asset).</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple transactional tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of procurement and inventory management principles.</li>\n<li>Willingness to learn and grow within the supply chain function.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Armstrong Fluid Technology?</span></p>\n<p>By joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fluid-flow technology.
