    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">In 2020, G Mining Ventures (GMIN) was created to acquire direct ownership of projects and capitalize on the value uplift that successful mine development offers. In July 2024, GMIN has acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Pipe Fitter</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing and repairing piping systems essential to mining </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">operations, including HDPE, Carbon Steel, Galvanized, Stainless Steel piping systems.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assemble, fusion and install HDPE, Carbon Steel, Galvanized and PVC piping systems, valves, and others</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Operate hand and power tools, including HDPE thermo-fusion and electrofusion machines, welding steel pipes tools and other power tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Troubleshoot piping systems and perform repairs or replacements as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Follow supervisors instructions for daily jobs, site organization, and proper order on site.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with welders, mechanics, and other trades to complete installations and repairs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Follow all site safety procedures and comply with environmental regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Skills and Experience</span><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Trade certification or equivalent experience as a Pipe Fitter.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial, oil and gas, mining, or heavy industry environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of different piping materials (e.g. HDPE, CARBON STEEL, PVC). </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work from heights and in adverse weather conditions. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong understanding of safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong communication and teamwork skills.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Work Schedule – 14 days on/ 7 days off.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Compensation Package</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Competitive Salary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Competitive benefits, bonus and group insurances</span></li>\n</ul>",
