We are looking for driven individuals with experience using Document Composition tools to join a modernization program to transform how we communicate with Clients. Initially the role will entail learning our existing Tango&#43; products and become part of the teams that will extract functions using SQL out of our wealth platform and build document templates. </span></p><p>Role Responsibilities</p><ul><li><span>Participate in a cross-functional delivery team and play a key role in the development and maintenance of product functionality.</span></li><li><span>Embrace and enforce SS&amp;C coding standards and best practices</span></li><li><span>Ensure quality be meeting or exceeding unit and integration test code coverage expectations</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with testers to develop functional test cases to protect software quality</span></li><li><span>Work with the BA/QA team members as well as internal and external stakeholders to elaborate features and user stories.</span></li><li><span>Attend client-facing workshops as required.</span></li><li><span>Assist with the technical analysis and investigation tasks as required with a microservices focused approach. </span></li><li><span>Identify the high impact software issues and solutions, escalating to Technical Leads and Architects to ensure key details are shared.</span></li><li><span>Assist in continuous improvement of development efficiencies.</span></li><li><span>Attend and contribute to all cross-functional team activities, including but not limited to team planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.</span></li></ul><p>Experience and Skills</p><p></p><p>Total Experience: 3-12 years</p><p></p><p>Essential</p><ul><li><span>SQL</span></li><li><span>C#, VB.NET</span></li><li><span>NET Core</span></li><li><span>Unit Testing</span></li><li><span>Document databases</span></li><li><span>Micro Services approaches </span></li><li><span>Knowledge of one or more document composition toolsets such as Opentext Exstream, GMC Print Net T, Tango&#43;, Adobe Experience manager.</span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Desirable (good to know)</p><ul><li><span>Domain Driven Design</span></li><li><span>Event Sourcing</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of financial &amp; investment products including Retirement, Unit Trust and Pension products</span></li></ul><p></p><p>Personal attributes</p><ul><li><span>Ability to operate independently and communicate microservice principles to the development team.</span></li><li><span>Willingness to learn our existing system to aid in the transition to microservices architecture. </span></li><li><span>Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional delivery team and collaborate with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Technical Leads and Developers, Testers and Architects.</span></li><li><span>Ability to independently problem solve and lead the software solution implementation end to end.</span></li></ul><p></p><p>Key behaviors:</p><ul><li><b>Instils Trust</b> – contribute to building a safe learning environment in the business where the team can be listened to and understood.</li><li><b>Collaborate</b> – Must be able to work in a co-operative manner with both internal and external teams and take all views and interests into account when formulating outcomes.</li><li><b>Ensure Accountability</b> – Must take full ownership of their assigned responsibilities and the outcomes that are generated and pursued</li><li><b>Customer Focus</b> – Must understand customer and partner needs from both a functional and operational perspective.</li><li><b>Communicate Effectively</b> – Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both in written and verbal forms, across all levels of an organisation and all sizes of groups.
