Thordon’s strong and recognizable global brand is known for high quality and superior performance, eliminating oil and grease from bearing applications in ships, hydro-turbines, vertical pumps, and many other applications.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Finisher</span></p>\n<p>Current Open Positions: 1 </p>\n<p>Monday to Friday: 7:30AM till 4:00 PM</p>\n<p><span>The Finisher position reporting to the Lead Hand in Finishing will be responsible for the following.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Perform sanding &amp; trimming of various parts as per the order instructions</span></li>\n<li><span>Visually detect surface imperfections on parts</span></li>\n<li><span>Package &amp; clean parts as required</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain focus while performing repetitive-type sanding tasks</span></li>\n<li>May move containers to the shipping area, and move lumber, paper, and other wrapping supplies to the crating area, using a hand or industrial truck</li>\n<li>Assist Shipping and Receiving to ensure goods are packaged correctly</li>\n<li>Must be able to react to change productively and to undertake other tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Minimum Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Grade 12</span></p>\n<p><span>Fork Truck Experience is an asset</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Ability to work independently</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Requires good housekeeping skills</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Ability to use small hand tools</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Knowledge of power tools</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Basic reading of technical drawings</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Ability to read, write, speak and understand English</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51)\">Physical Demands</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 12pt\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear.
