We provide a complimentary shuttle service for VA patients and employees. VetPride Services prioritizes the recruitment and hiring of Veterans and military personnel.<br><br><p><strong>Location:</strong> Dallas VA Medical Center, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Shift:</strong> On-call, Monday-Friday</p><p><strong>Hourly Rate:&nbsp;</strong>$19.00</p><p><strong>Health &amp; Welfare:</strong>&nbsp;$4.98/hr <em>(</em><em>as required by the SCA for the sole purpose of purchasing benefits.)</em></p><p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Greet customers in a professional manner upon their arrival/departure.</li><li>Assist customers with wheelchairs or walkers getting in and out of the shuttle.</li><li>Safely operate shuttle to/from the parking areas/designated stops.</li><li>Follow safe driving procedure and safety protocols at all times.</li><li>Abide by all rules and regulations set by the VA.</li><li>Effectively work as a team member with other drivers to ensure a successful transportation schedule.</li><li>Conduct pre/post trip shuttle inspections prior to and after scheduled shift.</li><li>Maintain shuttle in excellent condition by re-fueling and cleaning, as needed.</li><li>Report to duty in company issued uniform; personal hygiene and a professional appearance is expected at all times.</li><li>Report any issues or concerns to the Site Supervisor.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be at least 21&nbsp;years of age.</li><li>Will be subject to a pre-employment criminal background and DMV check.</li><li>Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.</li><li>Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to respond calmly and professionally when handling conflict.</li><li>Consistent attendance and reliability required.</li><li>Ability to understand, speak, and write basic English.</li><li>Must have the ability to work independently and within established guidelines, follow directions, and work well with others.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Technical capabilities and basic computer knowledge.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Must possess a smartphone to utilize Time &amp; Attendance features.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>1-year driving experience</li><li>Commercial passenger vehicle experience, preferred, but not required</li></ul><p><strong>Required Licenses or Certifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid/Current Texas Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License with P endorsement</li><li>Valid/Current DOT Medical Certificate</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li id=\"isPasted\">Paid Time Off</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Sick Leave</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Paid Federal Holidays</li><li>Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, STD &amp; Life Insurance</li><li>Access to 401k</li><li>Retention Bonuses</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Monday-Friday, On-call",
