    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Fortinet is recruiting a Site Reliability Engineer in OpenStack to join our FortiStack team. This team is responsible for the management, operation and continued development of our Openstack-based private cloud platform. This position would represent a great fit for Openstack specialists or IT professionals with a combination of DevOps/GitOps, virtualization, Openstack, storage and networking experience.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Playing a leading role in the operation, maintenance, automation, and continuous development of multiple OpenStack private cloud platforms worldwide, with a strong focus on GitOps-driven infrastructure lifecycle management.</li>\n <li>Focused on continuous improvement — always looking for enhancement, automation, and optimization opportunities across the cloud stack, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems in OpenStack, automation pipelines, and supporting platforms, both individually and as part of the broader team.</li>\n <li>Provide technical leadership in SRE and DevOps practices, actively sharing knowledge across the FortiStack team, supporting your peers, and contributing to automation standards and best practices.</li>\n <li>Provide on-call support as required to ensure platform reliability, availability, and performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field.</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience in production platform operations, preferably in large-scale or distributed environments.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of OpenStack administration and automated deployment workflows (Ansible, AWX, CI/CD, GitLab runners).</li>\n <li>Knowledge in server virtualization (KVM, etc.).</li>\n <li>Knowledge in Linux server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS Stream).</li>\n <li>Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK stack, etc., and integrating them into automated monitoring pipelines.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, LDAP, HTTPS, SAML).</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms and DevOps/GitOps tools (GitLab CI/CD, AWX, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Foreman).</li>\n <li>Experience working with scripting and automation languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Go).</li>\n <li>Highly organized, able to multi-task, and capable of working individually, within a team, and across cross-functional groups.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all user and stakeholder levels.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of security standards, automation security best practices, and their implementation within CI/CD workflows.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially within automated deployment environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Bonus:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certification in RHCE</li>\n <li>Certification in Openstack</li>\n <li>Knowledge in container management (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, etc.)</li>\n <li>Knowledge in software defined storage and network (Ceph, OVN/OVS, etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience in ISO27001</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Join a stable, technically strong team with real impact on customer-facing services.</li>\n <li>Work with modern infrastructure and automation technologies.</li>\n <li>Solve meaningful operational challenges at scale.</li>\n <li>Grow with a team that values action, clarity, and continual improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $100,800 - $138,300 annually. &nbsp;Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. &nbsp;Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.</p>\n<p>Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
