Description

Interclypse is hiring to support a federal client responsible for accounting, disbursements, and performance management functions. Specifically, this opportunity is for loan accounting support because of additional legislation to support the economic infrastructure of small businesses since March 2020 (pandemic known as Coronavirus Disease 2019). This position is onsite in Denver, Colorado. Responsibilities will consist of, but not limited to, the following: Evaluate transcripts of accounts that are used for court, payoffs, borrower disputes, and other activities. Support might include both manual and automated processes with reconciliation or journal vouchers. Analyze and address a wide variety of accounting-focused requests from internal departments, service offices, and lenders. Assist in clearing complex accounts payable, consisting of overpayments of balances or miscellaneous refunds to borrowers, lenders, and external parties. Review and confirm accounts payable information to ensure that improper payments are not made. Conduct research to validate that collections are recorded to correct loan and accounts. Record collections, expenses, and/or fees to the loans with a journal voucher when the system is unable to post through automation. Complete service office requests for loan adjustments. May require any combination of a journal voucher, transcript, field updates, research, retrieval of documents, invoice, refund, or detailed written response. Expectation of 10-15 completed customer service requests or clearing of 25-30 suspense items on an average day. Other duties or lack of other duties may decrease or increase this expectation. Develop and update desk guides and other process documents. Provide support for back office research into loan and account corrections. Distribute work across contracting team members. Communicate issues regarding work assignments or contractor personnel to customers.
