Your precision, problem-solving skills, and teamwork ensure every scope is covered and aligned with project goals. By supporting smart planning and strong execution, you play a key role in driving growth and excellence across our commercial construction projects.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Estimate Preparation & Analysis</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate scopes of work and detailed cost estimates</li>\n <li>Identify labor, material, and time requirements to support competitive and complete bid packages</li>\n <li>Develop cost-effective and labor-efficient schedules for project execution</li>\n <li>Maintain and update cost databases for accuracy and future reference</li>\n <li>Present estimates by compiling and summarizing numerical and descriptive data for internal and client review</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Project & Bid Management </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing finished quotes prior to turning the quote over to the Sales Representative</li>\n <li>Prioritize assigned projects and prepare estimates for bid through effectively performing take-off tasks on projects where required</li>\n <li>Pursue contract buy down after award of project from both the material suppliers and subcontractors</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Miscellaneous</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>College degree or equivalent combination of construction industry experience</li>\n <li>Two years in the construction industry, with emphasis in the specific fields of Doors, Frames, Hardware, and Specialties</li>\n <li>Great communication and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Highly productive</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, EPWS.)</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li>\n <li>Experience in the construction industry is a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively and professionally</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>High degree of ownership for projects, a sense of urgency and strong follow-through</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong></p>\n<p>Director of Sales</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation </u></strong></p>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
