    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\">The position of Store Lead is of great significance to Valley Wide Cooperative. A person in this position acts as a leader in the store and is a critical member of the store team. The Store Lead is expected to learn and possess the skills, knowledge, and ability to handle key carrier duties on a regular basis as business needs dictate.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Job Summary:</p><p>These are the <strong><u>basic requirements</u></strong> of the position and must be performed competently.</p><ul><li>Assist customers with all transactions for the purchase or returns of goods and services.</li><li>Ensure customer transactions are processed promptly and accurately.</li><li>Responsible for training of new employees and helping manager identify training needs.</li><li>Supervise checkout stations on regular basis.</li><li>Provide expertise in one or more areas or functions.</li><li>Utilize exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of all store departments and be able to perform all activities of employees in addition to handling more complex transactions or customer service situations.</li><li>Assist with loss prevention efforts by providing proactive customer service.</li><li>Oversees employee productivity, breaks and daily scheduling. Communicates performance issues to management.</li><li>Assign duties to employees, as well as directing workflow.</li><li>Ensure employees follow accounting policies, safety procedures and customer service standards.</li><li>Act as manager on duty when necessary.</li><li>Ability to handle problems that other employees cannot address.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:</p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Previous customer service experience and two years of retail experience preferred.</li><li>Excellent written and communication skills.</li><li>Acknowledge all customers, employees, and vendors in a friendly and appropriate manner.</li><li>Ability to multitask and determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.</li><li>Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, other employees, and vendors.</li><li>Must have a strong team player focus in all interactions- ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Ability to properly handle money, give change and record multiple transactions efficiently and accurately.</li><li>Must exhibit a professional and positive image.</li></ul><p><br></p></div>\n",
