We offer competitive salary and a great benefit package in an exciting, rewarding industry.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Dohrn Transfer is currently seeking a Building Maintenance Technician at our Centerville, MN terminal.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay is $30.90/Hour</strong></p>\n<p><strong>​​​​​​​Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits: Health / Vision / Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform manual and skilled work at facilities for building and grounds maintenance as needed including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Arc Welding and some fabrication</li>\n   <li>Outdoor grounds maintenance- snow plowing and yard work, some concrete work</li>\n   <li>Indoor repairs and maintenance- carpentry, electrical, welding, some fabrication, some plumbing, some HVAC</li>\n   <li>Dock Facilities maintenance- overhead door repair, replace and repair dock plates</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Travel to remote Terminal locations as needed (up to 75%)</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Drivers License</li>\n <li>Facilities Maintenance experience in the Transportation Industry preferred</li>\n <li>Must have a high level of knowledge and experience with various skilled trades used in building and grounds repair and maintenance</li>\n <li>Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Computer skills including Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and decision-making skills</li>\n <li>Must be organized and committed to performing high quality work</li>\n <li>Must meet the physical requirements of the job</li>\n <li>Must successfully pass a physical, functional screen and drug test</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with supervisor</li>\n <li>Excellent attendance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel to regional terminals is required; Weekend and night hours occasionally required; be available on call around the clock</li>\n <li>Heavy work; Exerting up to 100 pounds of force frequently</li>\n <li>Subject to both environmental conditions: activities occur inside and outside; Outside work may be in extreme hot or cold weather conditions</li>\n <li>Subject to: standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching particularly for sustained periods of time</li>\n <li>Subject to noise: there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level</li>\n <li>Subject to hazards: includes a variety of physical working conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and exposure to chemicals</li>\n <li>Subject to atmospheric conditions: one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists and gases</li>\n <li>The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operate machines and motor vehicles</li>\n <li>The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eye</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Dohrn Transfer Company, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
