This role is central to the conceptual development, scheduling, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, safety standards, and budget requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and coordinate project activities with Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, and Department Managers.</li>\n <li>Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in line with company and contract requirements. </li>\n <li>Represent the company in project and strategy meetings.</li>\n <li>Manage procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment.</li>\n <li>Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers and clients.</li>\n <li>Prepare and present reports on progress, costs and scheduling.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineers to produce shop drawings.</li>\n <li>Maintain clear communication with customers and contractors throught the project.</li>\n <li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specifications.</li>\n <li>Partner with Superintendents and Safety personnel to develop and enforce project-specific safety plans.</li>\n <li>Develop and monitor project schedules, identify variances, and implement corrective actions. </li>\n <li>Prepare budgets, forecasts and cost-tracking reports.</li>\n <li>Manage subcontractor RFPs, proposals, agreements and schedules.</li>\n <li>Negotiate and approve subcontract scope changes in compliance with contract requirements.</li>\n <li>Oversee divisional Work in Progress (WIP) statistics and present at monthly financial meetings. Perform accurate estimates and take-offs.</li>\n <li>Ensure necessary bonds, permits, and cerifications are obtained.</li>\n <li>Contribute to bid packages, including safety, quality and execution plans.</li>\n <li>Support department meetings and additional assignments with a collaborative attitude. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of project management or related experience.</li>\n <li>Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of relevant codes and standards governing design and operations.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands. </li>\n <li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>#ikmech</p>\n<p>#LI-SB1</p>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
