    "description": "<h2>Job Description & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Persistent Systems seeks a Technical Trainer who will be responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating customer-focused hands-on technical training programs to join our team to support the Pacific region based out of Hawaii. You will develop and deliver training materials for the company’s Wave Relay® training courses. You will also be responsible for evaluating training programs on an on-going basis by collecting feedback from customers and working with internal teams to ensure maximally effective training programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Delivering comprehensive training programs for customer-focused Wave Relay® courses</li>\n <li>Developing training outlines, presentations, course handouts, and knowledge/skills tests</li>\n <li>Developing and conducting training effectiveness evaluations to continually enhance the company’s customer-focused training programs</li>\n <li>Ensuring all training programs and courses meet business needs and quality standards</li>\n <li>Conducting needs assessments, anticipate future training needs, and plan accordingly</li>\n <li>Configuring and maintaining a Mobile MAC Training Kit of up to 20 MPU5s and accessories</li>\n <li>Field work with the PS International teams during periods between Training Events as necessary, such as demonstrations, customer equipment fielding and/or trade shows</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Qualifications & Experience </h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical degree or equivalent knowledge/skills, preferably in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Military Communications</li>\n <li>Experience conducting and evaluating customer-focused training in a classroom environment or experience speaking to groups of people</li>\n <li>Understanding of networking and IP scheming</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a United States security clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of radio frequencies (RF) and wireless communications</li>\n <li>Knowledge of mobile ad hoc networking (MANET) </li>\n <li>Networking Certification (Networks+, Security+, CCNA etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience with Wave Relay® products </li>\n <li>Experience conducting training for both commercial and government customers</li>\n <li>Active United States security clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The base pay for this role can vary from $149,500 to $166,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
