Provide technical leadership in geological interpretation, target generation, and mineral system analysis to support discovery and resource growth opportunities.
Manage and oversee drilling and field exploration programs, including trenching, mapping, sampling, and core logging activities, ensuring safe execution, high-quality geological data collection, and adherence to QA/QC best practices.
2. Project & Operational Management
Coordinate and manage exploration programs across assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and reporting, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Maintain high standards for geological data management, QA/QC processes, and exploration databases while overseeing core shack operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory, operational, and industry best practices.
Monitor exploration program performance, costs, and outcomes, proactively identifying operational risks and implementing practical, cost-effective solutions to support successful project delivery.
3. Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary exploration teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, and safety-focused work environment that supports strong geological and operational capabilities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with environmental, permitting, legal, safety, community relations, and operational teams to ensure responsible and compliant exploration practices across Brazil/Guyana operations.
Maintain strong working relationships and communication with local authorities, partners, consultants, contractors, and other key external stakeholders.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of mineral exploration experience, including leadership responsibility for exploration programs and field teams, preferably within South America and remote operational environments.
Demonstrated experience in gold exploration and resource development, with strong knowledge of gold deposit environments, geological modelling, and exploration program execution.

Technical Skills/Knowledge
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, prioritize exploration activities, and support strategic decision-making in dynamic operational environments.
Proficiency with geological and modelling software including Leapfrog, ioGAS, and QGIS, with experience using platforms such as Surpac and Micromine considered an asset.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities, with a high level of attention to detail, data integrity, and operational execution.
Strong understanding of permitting, regulatory, and operational requirements across Brazil/Guyana jurisdictions, with a demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, ESG principles, and continuous improvement.
