This position involves electrical and plumbing tasks as well as confined space entry.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Performs maintenance, replacement, and repair of lift station equipment</li><li>Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs</li><li>Assist in the installation, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and or rebuild of the mechanical equipment found in sewerage pump stations</li><li>Performs diagnostic test to determine operating efficiency of equipment, permit and other document readings, and prepares reports</li><li>Maintenance and repair of electrical control panels</li><li>Responds to trouble alarms during normal working hours and after hours</li><li>Work within confined spaces such as manholes, or wet wells</li><li>Work may be performed in Confined Spaces</li><li>Working on a on call rotation schedule which may include (nights, weekends, holidays)</li></ul><p><u><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</strong></u>:</p><ul><li>Ability to enter and work in confined spaces as defined by OSHA regulations up to 40 feet below ground</li><li>Climb ladders; work at heights up to 20’</li><li>Lift and move up to 65 pounds.</li><li>Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.</li><li>Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated working knowledge and experience using tools and testing equipment applicable to pump station maintenance, including basic knowledge of electrical controls.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs.</li><li>Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.</li><li>Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills.</li><li>Ability to perform basic math functions.</li><li>Five or more years of experience performing lift station maintenance and repairs preferred.</li><li>Driver's license required, in good standing</li><li>Previous experience working with electrical components (pumps, alarms, control panels)</li><li><strong>The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $25.00 - $30.00 hourly at the time of posting.
