Under management guidance, performs reviews of various reports and transaction data and analyses activity to determine if transactions are suspicious in nature.</p><p><br></p><p>Weekly Working Hours: 40</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Functions:</p><ul><li>Under guidance reviews system generated alerts for customer transactions in order to identify suspicious activity related to Anti-money laundering, fraud or terrorist financing activities. Recommends when to file Suspicious Activity Reports.</li><li>Conducts investigations and enhanced due diligence reviews of various customer types and industries.</li><li>Conducts Know Your Customer / Customer Due Diligence / Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on new customers.</li><li>Conducts the less complex investigations of transactions processed though the bank’s Merchant Processing Center.</li><li>Reviews and files Currency Transaction Reports submitted by branches within the required regulatory imposed timeframes.</li><li>Clears Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and other watch list alerts.</li><li>Reviews MISL Reports.</li><li>Participates in training seminars and webinars.</li><li>Provides accurate and timely responses to questions from branches and departments regarding BSA policies using sound judgment, ensuring regulatory compliance, no legal impact and satisfactory audits.</li></ul><p>EOE</p><p>Westamerica Bank's Privacy Policy may be found at: www.westamerica.com/about/privacy</p>",
