Join a growing team that's building a sustainable future — one rooftop at a time.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span><br>We are hiring motivated Solar Installers to join our residential installation crews. As a Solar Installer, you will work alongside experienced Crew Leads and Roof Leads to install rooftop solar panel systems on homes. This is an excellent entry point into the fast-growing solar and renewable energy industry — whether you're an experienced installer looking for a great team or someone with construction/roofing experience ready to break into solar. We provide hands-on training and a clear path for career advancement.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span><br>● Assist in the installation of residential rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems including panels, racking, mounting hardware, and electrical components<br>● Carry, stage, and position solar panels, racking materials, conduit, wiring, and other installation equipment on rooftops and job sites<br>● Perform roof work including laying out arrays, securing mounting hardware, and assisting with roof penetrations and flashing under Roof Lead direction<br>● Pull and secure electrical conduit, wiring, and junction boxes per engineering plans and NEC code<br>● Assist with ground-level work including trenching, equipment pad preparation, and inverter/electrical panel installations<br>● Follow all OSHA safety standards, fall protection protocols, and company safety procedures at all times<br>● Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site throughout the workday<br>● Load and unload materials and equipment from company vehicles<br>● Use power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively<br>● Provide a positive, professional customer experience — represent Better Earth with courtesy and respect on every job site<br>● Complete daily safety checklists, job reports, and documentation as directed by Crew Lead<br>● Drive company vehicles to and from job sites as needed<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span><br>● Previous solar installation experience — REQUIRED<br>● Must be at least 21 years of age<br>● Valid state driver's license (clean driving record preferred)<br>● Ability to lift, pull, and push equipment and materials to complete assigned job tasks<br>● Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently throughout the workday<br>● Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops for extended periods<br>● Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and work on feet for long periods of time<br>● Ability to work in extreme environments including hot sun, cold weather, rain, and crawl spaces<br>● Great attention to detail<br>● Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br>● Excellent customer service skills<br>● Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance<br>● Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span><br>● Prior experience in solar panel installation, roofing, general construction, or electrical work<br>● OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 a plus)<br>● Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment<br>● Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring<br>● Knowledge of fall protection and ladder safety best practices<br>● CPR / First Aid certification<br>● Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span><br>● Competitive pay: $25.00 <br>● Career advancement opportunities — grow into Roof Lead, Crew Lead, and Foreman roles<br>● Hands-on training in the booming solar and renewable energy industry<br>● Company vehicle for job site travel<br>● Safety-first work environment with proper training and PPE provided<br>● Be part of a team making a real impact on clean energy and the environment<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Better Earth is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
