The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upholstery, be able to operate sewing machines, read work orders, and collaborate with other members of our team. We are willing to train and mentor anyone qualified for the positions.</span></em></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #424242; font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #424242; font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Our ideal Custom Upholstery Candidate:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">5 years minimum upholstery experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to manually strip and re-cover furniture </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Well versed in repairing and finishing furniture to improve appearance. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Using power and hand tools, apply and install batting, foam, poly-filler and cut fabric to wooden framework in the assembly of hand-crafted furniture</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, tassels and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Measure and cut fabric or leather pieces with the aid of patterns or stencils and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Read work orders and maintain database of production status for communication with outside clients as well as in-house sales managers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Operate hand-sewing equipment, nail guns, hobnail and tack hammers, hot-knife cutters and other industrial equipment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Discuss complications supervisors and brainstorm solutions for increased productivity</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><span> </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #424242; font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Company Core Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Quality and Humility.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #424242; font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #424242; font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Our company motto is Be Awesome, which we work toward everyday thanks to the incredible people on our team.
