Join us as a <strong>HEAVY CIVIL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR </strong>and play a pivotal role in our dynamic world of heavy civil construction!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects with our clients in the Cold Lake Region.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Rotation</strong>:     Project dependent, most commonly 5/2 or 10/4</p>\n<p><strong>Shift</strong>:           12 Hours (Days and Nights)</p>\n<p><strong>Travel: </strong>        Drive in / Drive out</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pre-Employment Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Successful completion of <strong>Alcohol and Drug Screening</strong></li>\n <li>Successful completion of <strong>comprehensive Fitness-to-Work Assessment. </strong>This assessment is job-related, focusing on the physical demands and safety sensitive nature of the work, and is conducted in accordance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements and the Alberta Human Rights Act. The assessment will cover:\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Health History Review:</strong> A thorough examination of the candidate’s health background.</li>\n   <li><strong>Pre-Medical Evaluation:</strong> Measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.</li>\n   <li><strong>Musculoskeletal Examination:</strong> A head-to-toe assessment to identify any limitations or concerns related to physical health.</li>\n   <li><strong>Critical Strength and Mobility Test:</strong> A series of tasks assessing lifting, carrying, and positional abilities aligned with the job’s physical demands (up to 50 lbs).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Worker to provide:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Valid Safety Training tickets \n    <ul>\n     <li>Surface Common Core</li>\n     <li>CSO / BSO / CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional </li>\n     <li>Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED</li>\n     <li>H2S Alive</li>\n     <li>Ground Disturbance (HEO)</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>Valid Driver’s License </li>\n   <li>CSA Approved safety boots - minimum 6\" high & fully laceable.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>All Morgan Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work a rotational schedule, up to 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required and subject to change depending on project needs. </li>\n <li>Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job.</li>\n <li>Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required.</li>\n <li>Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it's rain, shine, or snow, you'll need to thrive in diverse weather environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Earth moving and grading, stripping overburden, stacking, and stockpiling.</li>\n <li>Lease building, reclamation, road building, pad building and culvert installation.</li>\n <li>Perform routine equipment inspections, meticulously examining tires, fluids, lights and brakes to ensure optimal functionality and safety.</li>\n <li>Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, other operators, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations. </li>\n <li>Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies by demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards, such as other equipment or personnel. Perform JSA and FLHA’s as required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.</li>\n <li>Operate 2-way radio.</li>\n <li>Shovel out equipment tracks.</li>\n <li>Perform labour duties as / when required.</li>\n <li>Assist ground personnel as / when required.</li>\n <li>Other duties as / when assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience / Qualification Requirements: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>GRADERS - Minimum of 3 years</strong> of recent experience operating <strong>160 Graders</strong> in a safe and efficient manner <strong>on projects in </strong><strong>heavy civil earthworks</strong>, <strong>construction, road building or mining</strong> industry is required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>EXCAVATORS - </strong><strong>Minimum of 3 years</strong> of recent experience operating <strong>349 Excavators</strong> in a safe and efficient manner <strong>on projects in </strong><strong>heavy civil earthworks</strong>, <strong>construction, road building or mining</strong> industry is required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>DOZERS</strong> - <strong>Minimum of 3 years </strong>of recent experience operating <strong>D6 Dozers</strong> in a safe and efficient manner <strong>on projects in </strong><strong>heavy civil earthworks</strong>, <strong>construction, road building or mining</strong> industry is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>ALL OPERATORS</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience with Hard Rock mining environments is strongly preferred.</li>\n   <li>Experience in Above Ground / Surface Mining is an asset.</li>\n   <li>Experience stripping overburden, stacking, stockpiling and reclamation Experience working on all types of ground conditions, including soft ground.</li>\n   <li>Proven experience working on ice road construction.</li>\n   <li>Experience with technical specifications and grade plans, building roads, oilfield leases and pads (preferred).</li>\n   <li>Ability to finish or trim (preferred).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Morgan:</strong></p>\n<p>Over the past 40+ years, Morgan has completed over 5400 heavy civil projects.
