Description

Overview World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Specialist, Program Business Solutions and Analysis. Major Function Reporting to the Director, Program Business Solutions and Analysis, the Specialist, Program Business Solutions and Analysis serves as a business facing analytics partner, with a primary focus on building strong relationships with staff in LAC WWF-US managed Country Offices to understand their reporting and analytics needs. The role translates those needs into effective, sustainable solutions primarily in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with operational priorities. This position also supports Workday Adaptive Planning reporting, process documentation, system enhancement testing, and user enablement in both English and Spanish. Location: Candidates must be based in a WWF-US managed country offices. Eligible locations include Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala/Belize/Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname and Guyana. Salary Range: Pay will be in local currency ONLY Resumes submitted for consideration MUST be in English. Any resumes that are not in English will not be reviewed. Responsibilities Reporting and Analytics (Primary Focus) Serve as the primary point of contact with HQ Program Operations and Country Office staff (in English and Spanish) to understand business questions, reporting requirements, and decision-making needs. Design and maintain Power BI and Microsoft Fabric dashboards that meet validated business needs and are intuitive to non-technical users. Validate report data for accuracy, ensure dashboards reflect correct business rules and structures, and maintain documentation for report logic, definitions, filters, and assumptions. Develop and deliver training, and job aids in English and Spanish to help users navigate and interpret reports Provide ongoing user support in English and Spanish; answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and guiding non-technical staff in data-driven decision-making. Process & System Support (Secondary Focus) Assist in system issue triage by reproducing and documenting errors, coordinating with relevant teams, and testing fixes. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, providing feedback and supporting release communications. Assist with periodic access audits and coordinate with IT on user provisioning for reporting tools. Contribute to process mapping, workflow documentation, and light process improvement activities in collaboration with the Director. Key Competencies Proactive Ownership and Reliability – Takes initiative to move work forward, seeking clarification when needed and delivering high-quality, accurate results on time with minimal supervision and strong follow-through. Stakeholder Collaboration – Builds strong relationships with HQ, Country Offices, and IT teams to understand needs and deliver practical solutions. Analytical Thinking – Synthesizes data and user feedback to identify patterns, draws insights, and recommends practical, data-driven improvements with strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Adaptability – Adjusts quickly to shifting priorities, evolving systems, and changing organizational needs. Clear Communication – Explains technical concepts in plain language and provides guidance to both technical and non-technical audiences in English and Spanish. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, information systems, or related field; or equivalent experience is required. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience required in business intelligence/reporting roles that involve direct partnership with end users and translation of business needs into reporting or system solutions. Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish is required, with demonstrated ability to support Spanish-speaking users is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is required; including translating business requirements into intuitive reports and dashboards. Advanced Excel and Power Query skills, including complex formulas and data transformation techniques are preferred. Experience with Mircosoft Fabric, data modeling, and related analytics tools is preferred. Expereince leading requirements discussions, documenting business needs, and communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with one or more of: Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday, and SmartSimple systems preferred. Knowledge of data governance and cross-system integration are highly desired. Experience working with international or distributed teams is strongly preferred. Occasional travel to WWF-US field or country offices (less than >5%, a minimum of 1 to 2 trips a year to Washington, DC or other Latin American Country Offices) may be required.
