Working together, but retaining our individual identity and areas of expertise, our group companies offer the widest, most comprehensive choice of products and services, to achieve success across all aspects of the Amenity market.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Main Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Devise, develop, promote, and maintain a market-leading grass / flower seeds and turf product range and technology concepts for OAS, within the UK/Export markets.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Assess market trends, competitor activity, and legislative changes to identify opportunities and threats.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Work closely with the R&amp;D team to develop innovative, performance-based products and programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Commercialise R&amp;D outcomes and introduce new product concepts to the market.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Develop a coordinated, strategic approach to amenity grass / flower seeds /turf across the Living Landscapes Group, identifying areas for collaboration where advantageous.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Stay up to date with legislation and regulations related to seed products and applications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Proactively scan for upcoming changes in legislation and identify their impact on product development.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Develop a sustainability manifesto and action plan, ensuring alignment with Group initiatives.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Create novel solutions to address sustainability challenges in the amenity sector.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Support sales teams through joint customer visits, helping to drive sales in key and prospect accounts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Provide technical education internally and externally, strengthening relationships with customers and sales teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Work closely with the Marketing team to successfully launch and promote products.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Assist the Commercial Director with sales forecasting and business planning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Analyse sales data to identify key areas for growth and strategic focus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Maintain and develop relationships with key end users, seed breeders, and seed suppliers both nationally and internationally.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Represent OAS at industry events such as the British Society of Plant Breeders amenity crop group meetings and Turf Growers Association meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Develop and maintain beneficial supplier relationships in terms of technical exchange, production, supply, and quality.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Negotiate purchase pricing with the OAS supply chain to maintain cost efficiency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Conduct price management, setting competitive yet profitable prices for grass and flower seed products.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Ensure pricing strategies align with market conditions while striving to achieve maximum margin.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 12pt\">It’s you we’re interested in</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 12pt\">At Origin, we want everyone to have an equal opportunity to achieve their full potential.
