    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;' data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Job Description:</strong></span></strong></p><p>Quevera is seeking a highly experienced <strong>Principal Back End Developer</strong> with an active <strong>TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph</strong> to support mission-critical programs in<strong>&nbsp;Annapolis Junction, Maryland.</strong> This role offers flexibility of up to <strong>16 hours of telewor</strong><strong>k per week</strong>, based on program needs and mission priorities.</p><p>As a Principal Back End Developer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for architecting, developing, and overseeing complex backend software solutions supporting national security missions. You will lead engineering teams, drive software architecture decisions, establish development standards, and ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance systems. Working closely with software engineers, system engineers, and mission stakeholders, you will leverage cutting edge to develop innovative solutions that meet evolving mission requirements.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as the technical lead for multiple software development teams supporting mission-critical programs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Architect, design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex backend applications, services, and distributed systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and oversee cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and modern software architectures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, complex algorithms, and high-performance software solutions using Python, Java, and C++</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, data models, and advanced SQL queries</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze user and system requirements to derive software architecture, performance, and scalability solutions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Integrate software components across applications, systems, and operating environments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects, performance issues, and integration challenges</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead code reviews, testing activities, quality assurance efforts, and software development best practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with system engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Mentor software engineers and provide technical guidance to development teams</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and implementation plans</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve software development and mission effectiveness</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical reviews</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure quality control and successful delivery of all developed and modified software</li></ul></div><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Active <strong>TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph</strong> required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor&#39;s degree</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated experience serving as a technical lead for software development teams</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex backend applications and distributed systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Expert-level experience with <strong>Python, Java, and C++</strong></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience designing and implementing complex algorithms and high-performance software solutions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Extensive experience with relational databases, including <strong>PostgreSQL</strong></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience designing complex database interfaces, schemas, and advanced SQL queries</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with <strong>Amazon Web Services (AWS),&nbsp;</strong>deploying <strong>API Gateway and Lambda&rsquo;s</strong></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience integrating software systems across diverse operating environments and mission platforms</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience developing and executing software test procedures and quality assurance processes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience utilizing <strong>Git</strong> for source code management and version control</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience generating and reviewing technical documentation and software design
