We are seeking an experienced Safety Inspector to join our Energy-Gas sector. The Safety Inspector will support Compressor Station site field operations for the construction and installation of compressor units and ancillary equipment. This role requires full‑time on‑site presence to oversee and reinforce safety practices across all active construction areas. The Safety Inspector will play a key role in daily contractor engagement, site monitoring, and ensuring compliance with safety standards throughout both the current civil construction phase and the upcoming mechanical installation phase.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide safety oversight during installation of compressor units and ancillary equipment (pumps, compressors, instrument air, electrical, communications, etc.).</li>\n <li>Conduct daily safety check‑ins with contractors and crews working on site.</li>\n <li>Monitor overall site safety conditions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and project requirements.</li>\n <li>Manage visitor access, orientations, and safety briefings.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain daily safety reports, observations, and corrective action documentation.</li>\n <li>Support general site upkeep to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment.</li>\n <li>Oversee safety practices during civil construction activities, including grading, foundations, and excavations.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project teams to identify risks, recommend improvements, and support a proactive safety culture.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>8-10 years of experience as a Safety Inspector in dry utilities and/or oil and gas environments required</li>\n <li>OSHA 30 certification required; other safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, CUSP) preferred</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering or related field preferred</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of safety management, regulatory compliance, construction practices, and hazard identification</li>\n <li>Ability to prepare clear, detailed safety reports (e.g., IIP, JSA, SPM) and communicate effectively with contractors and project teams</li>\n <li>Experience supporting civil construction activities such as grading, foundations, and excavation</li>\n <li>Familiarity with mechanical and electrical installation work</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage daily site activities and visitor coordination </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pay Range: $120,000 - $155,000 per year</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work Location: Onsite 5 days per week in Santa Clarita, CA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check</p>\n<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p><strong>Cordoba Corporation, Making a Difference</strong></p>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a nationally recognized civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
