We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . . .</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages all operations in the Housewares Department</li>\n <li>Provides excellent customer service</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains a quarterly management action plan</li>\n <li>Follows and executes monthly merchandising planner</li>\n <li>Hires, trains new department employees & writes department schedule</li>\n <li>Responsible for the department sales & labor budget, grosses, and reports</li>\n <li>Adheres to all company and department policies</li>\n <li>Maintains adherence to all security & safety policies</li>\n <li>Follows proper waste management and recycling procedures</li>\n <li>Adheres to sustainability programs</li>\n <li>Performs semi-annual employee performance evaluations</li>\n <li>Writes & works orders, coordinates in-store merchandising with Market Manager, ensures proper signage on all products & inventory control procedures for the department </li>\n <li>Responsible for monitoring all incoming products for accurate cost</li>\n <li>Keeps up to date on industry trends/standards/changes and educates staff</li>\n <li>Maintains historical files on promotions</li>\n <li>Maintain proper levels of shelf inventory and backstock for the business needs</li>\n <li>Operates within the Company’s Core Values, Company Brand and Brand Principles</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF . . .</h2>\n<p>                                                                                    </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in Housewares industry and merchandising</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays/any shift</li>\n <li>Emphasis on selling and merchandising/creativity</li>\n <li>Exemplifies health department standards</li>\n <li>Must work towards maximizing total overall market sales</li>\n <li>Good communication skills/excellent record keeping skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work with a diverse group of customers and employees</li>\n <li>Must possess a strong desire to work hard, be enthusiastic, participate in achieving management goals, and lead by example</li>\n <li>Team Player</li>\n <li>Good follow through and people skills</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Ability to have full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, & reaching)</li>\n <li>Exemplifies health department standards</li>\n <li>Ability to work in constant state of alertness and safe manner</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Entry Level Compensation</h2>USD $28.90/Hr.\n<h2>Maximum Compensation</h2>USD $29.90/Hr.",
