    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Responsible for completing psychosocial assessments, leading one on one and group therapy within a behavioral health space in accordance with evidence-based practices. Assesses patient needs based upon a face-to-face clinical interview, case history review and information obtained from collateral sources such as family members, the referent or other parties. Recognizes signs/symptoms associated with risk of harm to self and/or others and implements appropriate interventions as necessary. Develops and implements an appropriate treatment plan of care for the patient based upon relevant clinical information and diagnosis. (i.e., ages, diagnostic presentations, comorbidities, etc. in accordance with one’s scope of licensure and abilities • May perform Employee Assistance Programing as indicted by the site of care• Utilize evidenced based practices in treatment• Follow all ethical and regulatory guidelines• Provides culturally and linguistically appropriate services• May complete court commitment reports</p>\n<p><strong>Collaboration and Coordination:</strong>• Participate in all required trainings and educational activities• Participate in department level meetings and huddles• Be responsive to patients in applicable communication mode• May provide clinical supervision for provisionally licensed, or practicum students</p>\n<p><strong>Documentation and Administrative Functions:</strong>• Maintain licensure • Maintain eligibility to bill for government payers (i.e., not on the Medicaid/Medicare exclusion list.)• Document services accurately and timely patient progress with treatment plan goals • Achieve site of care productivity standards</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Master of Science Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy Required with a clinical/mental health concentration from an accredited school. </p>\n<p><strong>Experience: </strong>2 years post graduate degree experience required. 1 year of experience working with a site’s clientele is preferred. (For example, if this job is a pediatric site of care experience with pediatrics is preferred.)</p>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong></p>\n<p>Iowa: LMSW, LISW, LMFT, LMHC</p>\n<p>Illinois: LCPC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT</p>\n<p>Wisconsin: LCSW, LMFT, LPC</p>\n<p>May be required to obtain BLS within six months of hire for certain sites. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other:</strong> Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.</p>",
