    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\">The Repair Operator is responsible for basic repairs of guitar issues from consumers. The role is a blend of craftsmanship, quality, and customer service and focuses on industry standards for repair and quality. A successful repair operator completes a quality repair in the expected time and provides thoughtful service to the consumer. &nbsp;</p><p>The repair operator position is the entry level role for the team, but performance in this role is key for the team&rsquo;s overall success. In this role the operator will learn how to repair increasingly more difficult jobs with the objective of progression into the role of Repair Technician. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong><em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li>Perform restrings and setups (Electric and Acoustic)</li><li>Make and install new nuts</li><li>Replace hardware</li><li>Light electronic repairs</li><li>Level and dress frets</li><li>Package and ship guitars as needed</li><li>Track time and material usages</li><li>Interface with R&amp;R online tracking system</li><li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Bilingual: English/Spanish (preferred but not required)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to improve upon repair quality and speed to industry standards</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Solutions oriented approach to challenges/issues</li><li>Outstanding time management skill set with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision</li><li>Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must have guitar playing experience&nbsp;</li><li>General knowledge of guitar components</li><li>Experience with repairing stringed instruments</li><li>Experience as a guitar repair operator preferred</li><li>Paint and lacquer experience a plus</li><li>Direct consumer experience a plus (some interaction may be needed)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Knowledge</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Personal Qualities&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Passionate about working and winning in a team environment.</li><li>Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan</li><li>Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. &nbsp; Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner</li><li>Clear and logical thinker&nbsp;</li><li>Relish working in a company with a diverse, challenging, and fast paced environment</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Travel Requirements</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>This position is primarily onsite at the Gibson Garage Miami and may require minimal irregular travel as operational needs arise.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Typical retail and warehouse-adjacent environment.</li><li>Must be able to have a flexible schedule and work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work in a loud environment for 8+ hours.&nbsp;</li><li>Standing and walking required 90% of the time.&nbsp;</li><li>Lifting required 20% of the time with a max weight of 50lbs.&nbsp;</li></ul></div>\n",
