May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems specifications are met.</span><br><br><span><strong>Your Primary Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Support the coaching, mentoring and development of team members</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage the day-to-day activities of the team and specific business applications (including technical designs) across multiple locations</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage the software development process</span></li>\n <li><span>Estimate total costs for modules/projects covering both hours and expense</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure success criteria is met from design through deployment via cost-effectiveness, data integrity and reuse</span></li>\n <li><span>Support total delivery and a risk management mindset by anticipating and solving problems</span></li>\n <li><span>Support an environment to ensure employees understand how their efforts contribute to overall business strategy</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate with business partners and Business Architecture to drive innovation and re-imagine capabilities</span></li>\n <li><span>Embed a risk management mindset of resiliency, security, and controls into applications</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage technical processes and designs considering non-functional requirements</span></li>\n <li><span>Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Minimum of 12 years of related experience</span></li>\n <li><span>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience</span></li>\n <li><span>Effective written and verbal communication for issue reporting</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Talents Needed for Success:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Strong technical skills in distributed middleware technologies - Java, Springboot, MQ, Kafka</span></li>\n <li><span>Hands-on experience in multiple platforms - Linux, AWS Cloud, OCP4 Containers</span></li>\n <li><span>Prior experience in modernization projects is a plus</span></li>\n <li><span>Highlights the expected benefits of new actions and strategies to help others overcome fears of change.</span></li>\n <li><span>Fosters a culture where honesty and transparency are expected.</span></li>\n <li><span>Proactively seeks feedback from others on his/her own performance; Ensures that regular feedback is given in a constructive and behaviorally oriented manner.</span></li>\n <li><span>Supports an environment where individuals are respected for their contributions.</span></li>\n <li><span>Acts as a role model for respect and inclusion by showing consideration for people’s different needs; Integrates people of different backgrounds within and across teams; Encourages others in the department to gain a deeper appreciation for different customs and beliefs.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>&nbsp;<i>Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
