    "description": "<p>Job Summary</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At Ramudden Digital we are building a team of motivated and ambitious technology enthusiasts who are interested in working with cutting edge technology to build solutions in the Smart City and IoT industry. </p>\n<p>Ramudden Digital is a technology firm focused on Intelligent Transportation Systems.  We are technology designers, suppliers, installers and system integrators with access to a very diverse line of products.</p>\n<p>We believe that a company’s strongest asset is its employees and therefor we’re always on the hunt for talented individuals to join our team.  We provide a challenging work space that encourages out of the box thinking and independence.  If this sounds like something you’d enjoy we encourage you to apply now.</p>\n<p>You will work in R&amp;D and Technology department as part of a small team of innovators.</p>\n<p>Reporting to the Project &amp; Field Services Manager, the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electronics Field Technologist</span> will install, maintain, and repair the products owned by and distributed by the organization both in-house and in the field.  They will perform work both in-house and, in the field, and will be required to follow blueprints and instructions to assemble, service, and maintain systems with minimal downtime needed. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Responsibilities</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot electrical issues</li>\n<li>Follow instructions and designs and use manual and power tools to build electrical enclosures (both AC and DC) as well as mechanical mounting brackets and other assemblies</li>\n<li>Assist with design of new systems including the creation of drawings in Solidworks3D</li>\n<li>Fulfill customer orders and complete associated paperwork</li>\n<li>Carefully follow established safety procedures and guidelines</li>\n<li>Travel to sites and perform repair and maintenance work</li>\n<li>Provide Technical Support to Clients</li>\n<li>Identifies, investigates, and resolves users problems with hardware &amp; software</li>\n<li>Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding purchased product</li>\n<li>Commissions and configures systems remotely for clients</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned to meet business and customer needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Requirements</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-secondary education in engineering or 2 years of equivalent experience</li>\n<li>Full G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions</li>\n<li>Ability to operate electrical and manual machinery</li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office with above average Excel skills</li>\n<li>Structured CRM experience (Salesforce) an asset</li>\n<li>Experience with Solidworks3D is an asset</li>\n<li>Ability to manage time with deadlines and tight timelines</li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>A keen interest to learn and grow, self motivated and a willingness to be coached</li>\n<li>Very occasional weekend and night work (once or twice a year)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
