If defects are found, the product must be sent to be reworked. &nbsp;</li><li>Work with other area leads to ensure sufficient product flow.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate as necessary with maintenance and/or supervisor using provided equipment.</li><li>Assist with material handling to provide continuous production at each work center and meet operational needs. &nbsp;</li><li>Successfully scan work orders and complete paperwork as On-the-Job (OTJ) training requires within a reasonable time frame. &nbsp;</li><li>Monitor operation of machine, reporting any damage or needed repairs immediately to leadership.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance checks on machine(s) and properly document those checks via tablets provided by following On-the-Job (OTJ) training documents.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct frequent checks on product quality to ensure standards are met, report quality issues to the supervisor.</li><li>Proactively adjust equipment if deviations occur to provide ongoing continuous quality adjustments for acceptable product.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout scheduled shift as well as perform cleaning duties at designated times to contribute to a safe environment.</li><li>Make recommendations through specified means of communication, that support a lean and efficient manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Utilize various hand tools.</li><li>Practice and model proper safety rules and procedures.</li><li>Report to and be ready to work at the scheduled start time on a consistent basis.</li><li>Comply with all safety and company policies.</li><li>Wear proper PPE equipment as required for the area.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>None</p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Work in a manner that contributes to a safe working environment.</li><li>Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage time efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>Work independently and at an appropriate pace to meet productivity goals.</li><li>Support team goals through flexibility, adaptability, and agility.&nbsp;</li><li>Use of problem-solving skills to assess and resolve identified issues. &nbsp;</li><li>Strong math skills using calculations and measurement for accuracy.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>None</p><p><strong>Experience and/or Training:</strong> None</p><p>Licenses/Certificates:&nbsp;None</p><p>Technology/Equipment:<em>&nbsp;</em>None</p><p>Other: Must be 18 years of age or older.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>High school graduate, GED or equivalent.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Experience and/or Training:</strong><em>&nbsp;</em></p><ul><li>6 months of internal experience as a general laborer.&nbsp;</li><li>6 months of experience as a Machine Operator I.&nbsp;</li><li>6 months of experience with air handling equipment.</li><li>Able to understand and calculate metric to standard conversions.</li></ul><p><strong>Licenses/Certificates:</strong> None</p><p><strong>Technology/Equipment:</strong> Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite, Knowledge of ERP manufacturing software (2020 Insight.).</p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:</p><p>Standing for the working hours of each shift, 10 + hours daily. Walking in the Production department to different areas of work. Speaking, hearing, seeing. Listen and observe the environment for hazard prevention. Use hands for tools. Regularly lift 30-50 lbs. throughout shift. Team-lift as specified by leadership. Employees may perform tasks that require bending, twisting, and turning frequently.</p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p>WORKING ENVIRONMENT:</p><p>Indoor working environment, hot in Summer, temperature controlled in Winter. Moving machinery, i.e. forklifts, moveable carts, etc. Uneven ground where cart tracks are identified. Air quality may be dusty and potentially require additional PPE in certain areas.
