    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>SafeRide Health is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data systems that power critical business insights and operational workflows. This role plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization, including supporting high-impact processes such as complaints tracking and resolution. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure reliable, efficient, and well-designed data infrastructure that supports SafeRide’s mission to improve access to care.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows to support analytics and operational use cases<br>• Develop and optimize data models and warehouse structures to enable efficient reporting and insights<br>• Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Compliance, Product, BI) to translate business requirements into data solutions, including support for complaints and regulatory processes<br>• Improve and maintain data quality, integrity, and governance standards across systems<br>• Optimize query performance, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure for scalability and efficiency<br>• Contribute to system design discussions, ensuring data architecture supports long-term business needs and growth<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring reliability and accuracy of datasets used across the organization<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:</span> • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field<br>• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles<br>• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing<br>• Experience with analytics datastores such as Redshift, Snowflake, SQL Server, etc.<br>• Experience working with Cloud warehousing solutions such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factor, GCP BigQuery, etc.<br>•     Experience with BI and reporting tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or PowerBI.<br>• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)<br>• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<p>• Strong understanding of system design and data architecture principles<br>• Experience supporting operational workflows or compliance-driven processes (e.g., complaints, claims, or regulatory reporting)<br>• Experience working with multiple database platforms and very large-scale datasets<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<p>We offer a remote-first work environment, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits including:<br><br>Career growth and development opportunities in a mission-driven organization<br>Competitive salary, annual bonus opportunities, and equity options<br>Remote with flexible hours<br>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance<br>401(k) with company match<br>Generous PTO, paid company holidays, and paid parental leave</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Us:</span> SafeRide Health is a technology and services company dedicated to reducing barriers to care by improving the delivery of non-emergency medical transportation to people across America.
