    "description_html": "<div class=\"job_description\">\n\t\t\t\t\tA&amp;M Technologies Inc. has an opening for a&#160;<b>Senior Network/Systems Tools Engineer&#160;</b>to support the Intelligence Sector.<p>The job duties are as follows:</p><ul><li>System Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain the OpenText Network Operations Management (NOM) system architecture, with a specific focus on the Operations Bridge for the Transformation and Integration Cloud (OPTIC) Data Lake, ensuring a scalable, resilient, and secure platform for enterprise network management, performance monitoring, and compliance reporting.</li><li>Security &amp; Compliance: Provide SME support and guidance to junior administrators and operators that manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within NOM to ensure data security and compliance.</li><li>Administration &amp; Maintenance:&#160;Plan, install, configure, secure, upgrade, and patch the OPTIC Data Lake (DL) in containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes). Conduct similar duties for the Juniper Routing Director (formerly Paragon), which runs Kubernetes with a Linux base OS. Develop and maintain API integrations using REST APIs and connectors to connect both platforms with other enterprise systems and applications.</li><li>Performance &amp; Optimization:&#160;Monitor and optimize the performance and stability of the OpenText NOM and OPTIC DL systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.</li><li>Configuration: Configure and manage data ingestion into the OPTIC Data Lake, ensuring seamless integration of topology, events, and metrics from various sources.</li><li>Data Management &amp; Reporting:&#160;Administer the OPTIC DL, including data ingestion, storage, backup, and restore processes, and manage Stakeholder Dashboards and reports for capacity planning and trend analysis.</li><li>Troubleshooting &amp; Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to installation, configuration, performance, and integrations, working with vendor support when necessary.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Training:&#160;Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation according to standards.</li><li>Automation:&#160;Automate routine operational processes using scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, PowerShell) to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload.</li></ul><br>Requirements<p>TS SCI CI Poly</p><p>Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years, master&#8217;s and 10 years, bachelor&#8217;s and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years. Required qualifications include the following:</p><ul><li>Must be compliant with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.</li><li>Technical Knowledge:&#160;Deep expertise in container orchestration technologies&#160;like Kubernetes in Linux environments.</li><li>Operating Systems:&#160;Proficiency in Linux (RHEL) with experience administering tools in virtualized or containerized environments.</li><li>Problem Solving and Communication:&#160;Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, possess solid communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.</li></ul><p>Desired:</p><ul><li>Database Knowledge:&#160;Knowledge and familiarity of database management systems like PostgreSQL or Vertica.</li><li>Networking Fundamentals:&#160;Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP) and experience with network monitoring tools.</li><li>Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages for automation, such as Perl, Ruby, or Python.</li></ul>",
