NPH is the national leader in providing medical and neurobehavioral care to patients in acute psychiatric distress.  You will be joining a team of rock star staff who provide exceptional, patient-centered care and understand our patients are always our number one priority! Picks up supplies after each activity and returns furniture to its original position.</li>\n <li>Performs cleaning tasks to assist with infection control.</li>\n <li>Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate books; journals and other literature and attending related seminars, conferences, etc.</li>\n <li>Floats to other units and/or facilities as assigned.</li>\n <li>Maintains a professional approach with confidentiality.  Assures protection and privacy of health information as attained through written, electronic or oral disclosures.</li>\n <li>Understands and adheres to NPH’s compliance standards as they appear in NPH’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.</li>\n <li>Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and hospital regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li>\n <li>Prior experience in a behavioral health setting preferred; at least 2 years of experience in a direct care role strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) and Handle with Care (HWC) required and obtained during orientation.</li>\n <li>Works well with the patients in need of behavioral/recreational therapy; Able to lead and motivate people; Good planning and organizational skills; Ability to take initiative; Is creative and resourceful in their therapy techniques; Good computer skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated organizational skills.</li>\n</ul>",
