We want to hear from you!</em></span><span><br><br></span>As a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Safety Coordinator<span> </span></span>at ITC Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all workers on site. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. The Project Safety Coordinator also provides training on safe work practices, oversees the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and investigates accidents or near-misses. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform daily safety inspections as outlined in the ITC Health and Safety Program.</li>\n<li>Collect information on the trade workforce present on the site within one hour of work commencing each day and enter that information on the Daily Report Form.</li>\n<li>Collect and maintain the information necessary for the monthly Corporate Safety Meetings.</li>\n<li>Perform daily functions regarding the paperwork required by the ITC Health and Safety Manual.</li>\n<li>Do simple inspections of the progress made by trade contractors, with attention to possible safety concerns.</li>\n<li>Specific requirements for Project Safety Coordinator duties are outlined in the relevant bylaws and ITC’s Health and Safety Manual.</li>\n<li>Ensure Site orientation of all workers and all other site personnel as designated by the Site Superintendent.</li>\n<li>During site inspections, liaise, communicate, meet with and respond to the WorkSafe BC Inspectors.</li>\n<li>Attend and participate in training sessions to increase competency and awareness around all issues of safety pertaining to ITC Operations.</li>\n<li>Complete regular and comprehensive inspections of the site to ensure that safety standards are being met and report back all exceptions to the Site Superintendent and be accountable for action to correct such exceptions.</li>\n<li>Pay attention to the deadly signs: “Fall protection, electrocution, confined spaces, unprotected trench excavations, heavy machinery, etc...<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This role could be for you if you have</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification as a Construction Safety Officer (CSO or NSCO)</li>\n<li>Level 3 Occupational First Aid</li>\n<li>2+ years' of related work experience in construction specifically residential high-rise towers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Please note that the final compensation may vary depending on factors such as the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Canada’s Best Managed</span>    </span>                                                                 </p>\n<p><span>The Canada's Best Managed Companies award is a hallmark of entrepreneurial excellence – the highest and most recognized honour available to Canadian businesses.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Since 2003, ITC has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies (Platinum Member).  We gained this recognition after a scrutinizing process that annually examines all aspects of our business process: strategic planning, marketplace capabilities, human resources initiatives and financial results.  Our highly systemized approach to construction ensures the application of best practices and emphasis on quality results.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who We Are</span><br></span><span>We are an award-winning industry leader in the construction of residential high rises, mixed-use developments and select commercial projects that range in size from $1 million to $600 million. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">In everything we do – Quality Counts</span>. We have made a significant impact throughout communities in Western Canada for nearly 40 years through our focus on quality construction and quality relationships – at ITC, these go hand-in-hand.
