Position Summary Tacten is seeking professional, energetic, and forward-thinking 2nd, 3rd & 4th Year Apprentice Pipefitters to support our client site at CNRL Albian in Fort McMurray, AB! If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you. We will certify you in IRATA Level 1 (Rope Access) course, and offer flexible project schedules that you can work throughout the year, flights, and camp/accommodations! Project Details: Site: CNRL Albian Start Date: Immediate Local to Fort McMurray or able to fly out of Alberta Hubs (FIFO) Calgary or Edmonton Projects Rotations - 6/1 at 12 hours per day Responsibilities Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial piping systems and equipment Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using hand and power tools Support hydrotesting, bolt-up, rigging, and system commissioning activities Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures and participate in FLHAs and toolbox meetings Maintain a clean and organized work area Work collaboratively with Journeyperson Pipefitters and other trades to complete work safely and efficiently Complete required paperwork, inspections, and daily reports as needed Support maintenance, shutdown, turnaround, and construction projects in oil & gas environments Requirements Registered Apprentice Pipefitting Certificate IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well. CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO Strong work ethic Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients Exceptional safety and quality awareness Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level Valid driver's license We appreciate your interest in a career at Tacten, however only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further information.
